Karen Jara Vásquez
Karen has a degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Iberoamérica (UNIBE) and is currently studying a Business Administration Technician. She is currently studying a technician in HR and Pharmacy. She is the Director and Psychologist of Árbol de Esperanza since 2013.
Provides services to Árbol de Esperanza, pilot project of Ready to Empower, New York since its founding in 2013, performing the legalization procedures in Costa Rica in conjunction with the board of directors.
From her daily management as a Tree of Hope psychologist, she creates individualized plans to strengthen the self-esteem and empowerment of the organization's participants. Also, provides therapeutic care, makes reports, supervises psychology students who perform professional practices in the organization. In the management area, performs functions of fundraising, preparation of budgets and reports, coordination of staff and volunteers.
She is also president of Árbol de Esperanza. In the management area, he performs functions of fundraising, budgeting and reports, manages the necessary legal permits for the operation of the Association, staff coordination. In addition, he is president of Arbol de Esperanza. She is in charge of providing a report to the Ready to Empower Foundation in the United States.
Among her hobbies Karen loves to travel and learn from new cultures, knowing to date more than 11 countries, she likes to learn English and the Costa Rican sign language, she has participated in theatrical artistic festivals, she also practices the art of zentangle, yoga and meditation.
